The project involved redesigning the backyard of a business located in Ankara, Tunisia. The goal was to address the current inefficient use of the space and design a garden usable in different seasons. Design principles tailored to the targeted user profile were implemented, prioritizing brand identity and customer demands. Two different themed proposals were prepared.
One option featured earth-toned terracotta tiles laid in a herringbone pattern on the floor to give the space a rustic texture. The ceiling was covered with a retractable, beige-toned fabric awning, providing both elegant shade and enhanced spatial depth. A long bar area was designed with modern and simple lines. Vertical ribs were used on the bar front, and high stools were placed in front of the bar and fixed, navy blue divan seating along the right wall. These divans were placed in front of a distressed, textured wall accented by arched niches, while the tables were complemented by wooden chairs with wicker accents. Vibrant green plant walls housed in large, concrete-looking pots placed along the space's central axis served as both a natural divider and added a spacious, tropical feel to the interior. The lighting fixtures and wall details, including clocks and heaters, were meticulously selected to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
